My experience teaching has been mostly in international schools. This includes many years in Tanzania with shorter periods in Sudan and Oman. I taught as an elementary class teacher and a visual arts specialist for ages 3 to 19, in the International Bacellaureate Primary, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. My approach to teaching is learner-centred and holistic, embracing diversity and enjoying learner-led experiences. I was born and raised in British Columbia. I continue to live life in Tanzania, not far from my daughter and twin grandchildren.
