Neurodiversity Knows No Borders

Ari Learning offers social clubs for neurodivergent learners from all over the world, providing an opportunity for international learners to connect with one another. These clubs not only help learners build friendships but also offer the chance to learn about different cultures and perspectives.

International learners benefit greatly from meeting people from different parts of the world. By interacting with others who have different backgrounds and experiences, learners can broaden their horizons and gain new perspectives. This exposure can help foster empathy and understanding, and can also help learners become better global citizens.

In addition to the benefits of connecting with international peers, online clubs for neurodivergent learners provide a space for individuals who may struggle to connect with peers in traditional social settings. By offering a safe and supportive environment, these clubs can help learners build confidence and self-esteem, while also providing a sense of belonging.

At Ari Learning, we prioritize creating a neuro-affirming culture in our classrooms and social clubs. This means celebrating and accommodating neurodiverse individuals, rather than trying to force everyone into a narrow definition of "normal". However, it's important to note that the specific expression of neuro-affirming culture can differ across different cultures and societies.

While the concept of neuro-affirming culture is international, different cultures may take different moral or social stances on the behaviors associated with neurodiversity. For example, the way autism is viewed in some cultures may differ from how it's viewed in others. Despite these differences, a neuro-affirming culture remains a vital aspect of creating an inclusive society, regardless of cultural background.

Our inclusive classrooms and teachers from all over the world help facilitate this international neuro-affirming culture. By providing a platform for international learners to connect with one another, Ari Learning is helping to build a more understanding and compassionate world.
